NEW CytoFix®
- CD4+ Immune Monitoring Controls

CytoFix® CD4+controls are a stabilized preparation of whole human blood for use as a positive control when evaluating CD4+ enumeration procedures.

CytoFix®CD4+ Normal
- CF04N has a CD4+ absolute count of >600 cells/µl

CytoFix®CD4+ Low
- CF04L has a CD4+ absolute count of <200 cells/µl

CytoFix® CD4+controls have a closed vial stability of 90 days and an open vial stability of 30 days.

NEW CytoFix®
- Leukodepleted Whole Blood

CytoFix® Leukodepleted blood is a stabilized whole blood preparation with a leucocytes count of <20 cells/µl.
Leucocytes counts of < 5 x 106 per blood transfusion product are currently recommended in the UK in order to reduce transfusion-related infections and febrile reactions. CytoFix® Leukodepleted blood allows laboratories using commercial nuclear stains and `in-house' propidium iodide staining methods to validate their methods and determine their CV's.
